Taylor Swift is christening the charts as holy ground.
For, her latest studio album – ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ – has scored the #1 position on the Billboard 200 charts.

The ‘All Too Well’ singer’s album topped the charts with a massive 605,000 equivalent album units.
Of that sum, pure album sales comprise 369,000 units and 227,000 units come from streams (303.23 million on-demand streams).
As a result, Swift has earned her tenth #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. In doing so, she becomes only the second woman to achieve 10 #1 albums. Only Barbra Streisand has more with 11.
Moreover, she has now earned four #1 albums on the Billboard 200, in just under 16 months. That’s the fastest that a solo artist has accumulated four #1s since the chart’s inception.
Additionally, she has broken the record for the biggest vinyl sales week again, as ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ sold 114,000 copies. This bests the record she previously held with her ‘Evermore’ album, which scored 102,000 vinyl sales earlier this year.
The album also owns the record for second-largest streaming week for a female album, only Ariana Grande‘s ‘Thank U, Next’ album bests it with 307.1 million streams.
Furthermore, ‘Red’ scores the biggest opening for a country album in eight years, the most since Luke Bryan‘s ‘Crash My Party’ debuted with 528,000 copies in 2013.
The news comes as her song, ‘All Too Well,” is expected to top the Hot 100 chart and break even more records (as we reported here).

But everyone swears Beyoncé is the Queen of the World. Meanwhile for the last 10 years she hasn’t had one huge 10 million selling album like Adele, Taylor or Gaga. She’s been out sold by numerous of female artist.
Beyoncé doesn’t have one huge solo Number 1 hit song in 10 years. She’s been dominated on Billboard, Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes.
She hasn’t made any great, timeless, game changing or outstanding music in over 10 years but everyone swears she’s God and untouchable.
